Mr. Noam & staff created an incredible and EDIBLE Pi celebration day! Events included:

Rites of Passage Poetry Workshop

Our poets are preparing for the Rites of Passage event in the fall. Students received a poetry journal with lots of room to write many poems! (more photos in our photo album)

Verizon Liberty Science Museum Field Trip

Students attended a Verizon sponsored field trip to the Liberty Science Museum. They completed a scavenger hunt and also watched a science documentary on turbine powered energy resources in our very own east river. They met and questioned the engineers who pulled this feat off after the film viewing. Verizon has challenged our girls to write an essay on their favorite female scientists or engineers. Supreme Court Job Shadowing Field Trip

Treasure Academy attended a job shadowing day at the Supreme Court. Students met lawyers and judges and learned more about our judicial system. (more photos in our photo album)
